Tri-Cities High School Mission Statement:
The Tri-Cities Community will Lead and Inspire each other to be our best selves by being COMMITTED, INNOVATIVE, OPTIMISTIC and SERVICE MINDED in our Academic, Artistic, Athletic and Personal Endeavors in a safe and secure environment.
PSAT/ SAT
On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, the PSAT and SAT will be given at Tri-Cities High School. We are excited for our students to take these tests and to perform well on them.
For the purpose of testing, we ask that ALL students do the following:
1. Get a good night of rest.
2. Come to school early or on time to get their free breakfast and have a moment to relax before the test.
We will not allow disruptions during the test, so please note that we will not be able to call students out of class, nor will early checkouts be permitted.
Thank you in advance for your assistance with this matter.
New FCS Board Approved Calendar Adjustments
At its work session last night, the Fulton County School Board approved making April 21, 2020, and May 19, 2020, “Digital Learning Days” for students while maintaining them as regular work days for employees. A Digital Learning Day is an opportunity for students to engage in off-site learning instead of attending school.
Since April 21 and May 19 are state-wide election days, there is high-volume participation of the public at polling stations located in our schools, and this increases the potential for security concerns. By utilizing digital learning activities, students will be able to maintain their focus on instruction even though they are not on campus. This also allows staff the opportunity to participate in high-quality professional development to deepen their knowledge and skills.
Here is a summary of the recent calendar adjustments:
· March 13, 2020 remains a teacher workday.
· March 24, 2020 (GA Presidential primary election) will be a teacher workday.
· April 21, 2020 (state-wide election) will be a student Digital Learning Day and a teacher professional development day.
· May 19, 2020 (state-wide election) will be a student Digital Learning Day and a teacher professional development day.
Thank you for your continued support and flexibility.
JOIN THE TCHS PTSA
Welcome to Tri-Cities High School. Our goal is to improve programs, opportunities, and support resources available at our school, and provide a more enriching experience for all students, parents, community members, faculty and staff.

The TCHS PTSA host different events throughout the year and they have excellent scholarship opportunities at the end of the year! We need parents to serve on our PTSA! PTSA committee members are parents of Tri-Cities students. We need parental support to help our school flourish.
Meetings will begin in October! Please consider joining today!

NO Outside food items
As we approach the upcoming holidays, candy, deserts, baked goods (store bought/homemade), or other edible items are not to be sold or distributed during school hours unless approved in advance by the administration. Students who do not adhere to this expectation are subject to disciplinary action for insubordination and all food items will be confiscated. Please discuss this expectation and possible consequences with your student(s).
This measure will help us maintain a safe environment for all students. You can help us protect your student(s) by requesting that they not eat anything given to them by another person, anything that they have not brought from your home or anything not in its original sealed package. Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping all of our students safe at school!
Game Day Additional Security Measures
Metal Detector Wands-
Effective September 1st, school based personnel will begin using a security wand on everyone entering the gates at football and basketball games for additional safety measures to detect the possession of weapons, deter bringing weapons on school grounds and reduce the potential for violent incidents. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your grade administrator.
