"Getting the job done at scale: What entrepreneurs and their businesses really need to grow"
Entrepreneurs and their businesses need more than just training programs to grow. They need credit and other financial services to weather shocks, advice on how to plan for growth, access to markets, and insights about the business to improve how they operate. Without technology, training programs alone will never get to scale and deliver on the desired growth in a viable way.
BFA's FIBR work on growing entrepreneurs: as Hustlers, iWorkers, and Online Merchants brings to light the barriers MSEs still face and how tech & touch approaches and digital platforms can unlock new pathways to employment and careers for Africa's young workers.
This event will explore the role of technology in creating and supporting employment and livelihoods for youth in Africa. To attend, please register as space is limited. Lunch will be served.
