Yelp Cooks With The Humble Butternut

ICYMI The Humble Butternut is one of Tampa Bay's newest culinary darlings. Natasha cooks up delicious authentic Indian cuisine with a modern twist and packages it perfectly for pick-up. It's tasty, it's nutritious, and yes, oh so ~Instagrammable~
On October 12th Natasha is inviting Yelpers across the country into her kitchen as she teaches us how to make an original dish. This meal will be vegetarian! *CONFETTI*
Serves 2
Pita Bread
1/2 cup full fat Greek yogurt
1 inch fresh ginger, grated and chopped
1 small yellow onion
1 bunch cilantro (coriander) leaves
Salt
1-2 tbsp Coriander powder
3-4 tbsp Cumin powder
1 lemon
1 piece tamarind
1 medium sized eggplant
3 Gold Yukon potatoes
2 tbsp mustard seeds
5-6 Curry leaves (optional)
2 fresh chilis (optional)
1 tsp Turmeric powder
Tools/Materials:
To cook with us you will need:
-Muslin or cheesecloth (not required but helpful to have)
-One large non-stick pan
-Spatula
-Cutting board
-Knife
-Blender or bullet (for the chutney)
For those of you who will be joining us from the Tampa Bay Area, a kit is available to make this class even more accessible! Natasha was born in New York and raised in New Jersey. She followed a path that took her into the world of international finance. This included living abroad, from Singapore, France, and most recently England! Now that Natasha is home in the States she has decided to bring her passion for modern Indian cuisine to life with The Humble Butternut.
