Greene Co. Sheriff’s Department, TBI investigating child’s death

GREENE COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL)- Authorities in Greene County along with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are investigating the death of a child over the weekend.

According to Captain Jeff Morgan with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, deputies received information about the death of a child in Southwestern Greene County on Saturday.

TBI officials confirmed Monday afternoon they were investigating, but could not immediately release any further details.
