Join Jackie Hunt, Turn End’s gardener for an exploration of the garden in mid spring. Explaining jobs undertaken over winter such as pruning and mulching, Jackie will also identify plants that provide interest and scent over winter and early spring including plants for winter structure, early flowering shrubs and spring bulbs. Jackie will also explain forthcoming spring jobs to prepare the garden for the main growing season, such as growing annuals from seed, preparing tender plants, planting, dividing late season perennials and staking.

Handouts provided, but you are welcome to bring a notebook! The garden and our small plant nursery will be open after the talk to explore at your leisure.
