View your account summary

Your Account summary home page provides a central location for viewing details of your tax account. This is the first page you will see when you log in to your Individual, Fiduciary, or Business Online Services account.

Features available to all taxpayers

Your Online Services account allows you to:

  • view details about your tax account;
  • view and edit personal contact information and account access permissions;
  • pay bills and notices;
  • respond to department notices, such as bills or requests for information;
  • access our other online services available to you; and
  • sign up for account-specific email alerts instead of paper mailings. These messages include personal income tax refunds and adjustments, updates to your account, audit letters, tax bills and related notices, and filing due date reminders.

Additional features available to personal income taxpayers, corporation  taxpayers, sales tax vendors, fuel tax vendors and withholding taxpayers

View a detailed filing history

You can view the details of your returns, organized by filing period, including the:

  • form,
  • filing period end date,
  • transaction date,
  • confirmation number,
  • filing method, and
  • filing status.

View a detailed payment history

You can view payments and prepayments, organized by filing period, including the:

  • payment type,
  • transaction date,
  • confirmation number,
  • status, and
  • amount.

Note: Account summary will not show any payments you make on either an installment payment agreement (IPA) or New York State-issued bill. See Request an installment payment agreement and Pay a bill or notice to learn more about these types of payments.
