    Job Description

    A&F is seeking a motivated, smart, hardworking law student to join its in-house Intellectual Property department as a legal intern to support the management and enforcement of A&F’s global intellectual property portfolio. This position will provide support to A&F’s senior trademark paralegal and intellectual property attorneys.

    What will you be doing?

    • Research and gather evidence to support trademark prosecution efforts
    • Monitor and investigate third-party uses of intellectual property
    • Conduct legal research
    • Assist in preparation of internal training materials
    •  Maintain and organize internal charts and files
    • Provide litigation support
    • Assist with other intellectual property matters as needed

    What will you need to bring?

    • 1 to 2 years of law school experience
    • Strong research skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to think strategically and provide critical analysis
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to function in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and to manage competing priorities and deadlines
    • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
    • Trademark coursework is a plus
