Email Address Verification
Please verify your email address below to receive emails containing the details of case events. By doing so, most, if not all, future notifications will be provided by email and not by letter. If you click Cancel or do not verify your email address, you will continue to receive letters from VNS except in those case which have large numbers of victims.
You should have received a notification via email or US Postal mail regarding being identified as a victim of a federal crime in the Victim Notification System (VNS). Contained in the notice are your Victim Identification Number (VIN), your Personal Identification Number (PIN), and Last Name as entered in VNS. If you would like to receive email notifications from VNS regarding updates on your case(s), you may verify your email address by entering your VIN, your Last Name as it appears in the notice, and the email address where you received the notice, and clicking "Continue." You must enter the same email address at which you received the email from VNS. If you would like to verify a different email address, you must log in to VNS from the home screen using your VIN and PIN and update your contact information on the "My Information" page.
After verifying your email address, you will receive notifications by email only for all future case updates. Verifying your email address also allows VNS to send you a new login ID in case your VNS Password is lost or forgotten. At any time in the future, you may log in to VNS using your VIN or verified email and PIN in order to access your prior notifications, update your contact information, or choose to stop receiving notifications from some or all of your cases.
