COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in South Linden.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 9:59pm, Wednesday, officers were called to the 1100 block of E. 13th Avenue on the report of a shooting.  

When officers arrived on scene, they found Tomika Lee Turner, 36, suffering from a gunshot wound.  

Turner was taken to Grant Medical Center where she later died from her injury. 

Witnesses told police that Turner was arguing with her “on again/off again,” boyfriend, Roshan Lamar Cumberlander, 37, in front of the location, when he pulled a gun and shot Turner.  

Police say Cumberlander is still at large after running from the scene and should be considered armed and dangerous.
