For the second time in program history the Skaneateles boys soccer team can call themselves state champions.

Owen Cheney’s goal in the second overtime lifted the Lakers to the Class B title defeating Center Moriches 1-0.

Skaneateles also won the state championship in 2010.

In the Class C finals, two-time defending state champion Lansing fell to Rhinebeck 1-0.

The Marathon boys won their first state title in program history. The Olympians defeated Mount Academy 1-0.
