I joined KELOLAND Media Group in August of 2018 as a production assistant. In December of 2018, I moved to the position of sports reporter. Nine months later, I moved from TV to online as I became a Digital Reporter.
In the past two years, my role of Digital Reporter has grown in several ways including the creation of year round livestream games. Along with the help of several others, I have been able to livestream more than 100 games over the past two years including sports such as football, baseball, basketball, soccer and softball.
I grew up with a love for sports and as I have been able to call more and more games, that love has only grown more. My enthusiasm for the games should show when I’m on the call.
I was raised in Lennox and have grown up in the Sioux Empire area my whole life. I graduated from Lennox in 2015 and then earned my Media Studies degree at the University of Sioux Falls. I earned minors in Art and Communication as well.
It may come as no surprise that outside of work, I watch and play plenty of sports. In a normal year, you’ll find me probably making a trip to some MLB stadium (usually the Twins) and a trip to a Vikings game as well. I also play amateur baseball for Dell Rapids PBR. During my many sports adventures, you’ll find my wife, Kennedy, alongside me, though her love for the Packers can create some interesting Vikings vs. Packers games.
