I joined the KELOLAND team Oct. 8, 2018, as the statehouse reporter in Pierre. I get to tell the news for KELO TV and for KELOLAND.com. On many days, this means looking for unique approaches for the best ways to explain a topic. This is a bold step by KELOLAND to better serve you.
Before joining KELOLAND, I was a newspaperman for nearly all of my professional life, starting at age 10 as a newspaper delivery boy and, in fall 1976, as a college freshman, seeing my first news story in print.
My wife Ellen and I have two grown children.
