Traveling internationally or living abroad can be exciting, but things may not always go according to plan. Students, faculty and staff of WPI traveling abroad on WPI-Sponsored Travel are now covered by international travel medical insurance and will have access to 24/7 medical and security assistance through its partnership with International SOS (ISOS). This medical and security assistance program provides emergency response, as well as online services and travel information.
International SOS (ISOS)** membership includes:

Dedicated 24/7 phone line for urgent and non-urgent medical and security advice during pre-departure planning or while traveling: 1-215-942-8478.

26 Global Assistance Centers and a network of over 84,000 vetted medical, dental, security, and transport service providers internationally.

A travel health and safety web portal and free phone app so you can review travel health and safety information about your destination, generate a Certificate of Assistance, receive alerts while traveling, and connect with International SOS if you need assistance abroad.
**In order to use alll of the services of International SOS, WPI students, faculty and staff must register their trip through the WPI MyTrips Travel Registry.
