Help Us Keep White Dove Open!

White Dove Global Prep (formerly White Dove Girls School) is an American-founded, fully accredited, private all-girls’ school, founded in 2013 and located in Kacyiru – Kigali City – Rwanda.

White Dove is already recognized as an exemplary school model in Rwanda. The hidden reality is that this school, which serves refugees, working-class families, families living in poverty and orphans, will not make it in 2018 without the partnership and support of individuals and charitable organizations like you. We need your help to get through this transitional period to reach full sustainability.

As of December 2017, White Dove Foundation is no longer able to fund the school’s operational expenses. We have now partnered with Emmanuel Tabernacle Church in Minneapolis, MN. All donations are tax deductible.

It takes $150,000 USD to operate White Dove Global Prep for one full year. From some perspectives that is not a lot of money to operate a school, but it is a tremendous amount when you have a short amount of time to figure things out.

More than 60 girls are currently enrolled in the program. Imagine how their lives would be interrupted if the school closes.

White Dove Global Prep is headed by American School Developer & Educator Patrice Dorrall. Ms. Dorrall has been a teacher, visionary and leader in school development and creation for the last 24 years. The founder of two schools in the United States, for the last 5 years she has resided in Rwanda, influencing the education sector and leaders on a national scale.

While White Dove Global Prep welcomes all students and nationalities, we pride ourselves in educating native Rwandan, Burundian, Ugandan and Congolese students, many who are orphans, refugees or recruited directly from refugee camps and villages. We often seek the hidden academically capable gems throughout Rwanda who might not otherwise be offered an exemplary educational experience.

White Dove Global Prep began the transition from a vocational program to a rigorous academically focused college preparatory program to better align the school for sustainable and probable success.

White Dove Global Prep currently offers an E=STEAM (entrepreneurship, science, technology, arts & math) focused college preparatory program using the Rwanda National Curriculum.

CHANGING LIVES EVERY DAY

White Dove Global Prep is changing the lives of secondary school girls daily, and we need your help to continue doing that! White Dove has quickly risen to a notable college prep school for girls from or living in East Africa. We consider ourselves small but mighty in purpose. We are on the road to full sustainability but still need the help of our supporters and anyone who believes that education and girls have great value in our world.

We offer an advanced version of a STEM education with the addition of an intensive entrepreneurship & arts programming. We are not an international school but a local school with an international intention, serving working-class families, orphans, and refugees.

We need to keep our doors open for a long time to come and, right now, we need help from our worldwide friends!

TEACH. LEAD. DREAM.

Our motto is TEACH. LEAD. DREAM. We teach and lead by example. This school is a dream come true for its founders, educators, and each scholar and her parents. Through hard work and support, White Dove Global Prep has accomplished much in just a few years. Some of our achievements are:
