Northview Lunch Forgiveness Fund

With the Holiday season fast approaching we find many families in our community struggling during this time. This time isn’t always as easy for some. Recently there was some discussions in our group about negative balances in our schools regarding the lunch programs. That kids who were negative would be given a “Alternative” lunch. These lunches may make these kids feel insecure and thus cause them to have negative feelings. I’ve lived my entire life in the Northview community and have scene our community rise on many occasions to address many problems that are plaquing out community.

So to again rise to the occasion I have created a GoFundMe account to address negative balances in our Schools. Earlier today I reach out to Jan Jager at Northview to ask her how we could target accounts that are negative and use any funds generated by the GoFundMe account to pay those accounts off! Santa is coming to Northview sooner than expected. As of 10am  this morning the funds generated exceed $170. With the Campaign running for a mere 2 hours this is a great start! Our target goal is $500 and I expect to hit that in the next few days. If everyone could donate 5-20 dollars this will go a long way for students!
