South High isn’t the only local high school earning accolades for its student artists. In addition to senior Ethan Perry winning the congressional art competition for the 23rd Congressional District, Bakersfield High School also has a pair of young ceramicists in the spotlight.
Instructor Yvonne Cavanagh is extremely proud of students Yareli Munoz and Bridget Suthers, who each have a sculpture on display in a new exhibition at the American Museum of Ceramic Art in Pomona.
