Since launching as an advocacy organization, expanding to become a rescue charity then working with local government to make Austin a No Kill city, we've been pioneering programs to save animals from being needlessly killed in shelters. We're not your typical animal shelter. We're the safety net for shelter pets who need us most and we're facilitating industry-changing work with other animal welfare leaders across the country through our American Pets Alive! division.
