MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University baseball fans will have numerous ways to follow the Mountaineers again this year, as the radio broadcast schedule and affiliate list and online streaming information has been announced for the 2019 season.
The Mountaineer Sports Network from Learfield IMG College will broadcast 35 regular-season games this year, while every home game at Monongalia County Ballpark will be streamed live for free across the world on various mediums.
The radio schedule begins on March 22 with the Big 12 Conference opener at Baylor, and continues with every game through the end of the season, including the postseason.
Fans throughout the state will be able to listen to the Mountaineers on various radio affiliates, listed below, while fans across the country can listen to the broadcast for free on the
WVU Gameday App and the
TuneIn App on their mobile device, as well as online at
WVUsports.com.
Additionally, every home game will be streamed live for free on
WVUsports.com/Watch and the
WVU Gameday App. Fans also can watch the stream live via
Roku and
Apple TV by searching for the "West Virginia Mountaineers" channel.
For the first four home games not slated for radio broadcast over the air, fans can listen to the action online at WVUsports.com, the WVU Gameday App and, when available, on the TuneIn App. Those four audio broadcasts, March 8-10 vs. Kent State and March 19 against Youngstown State, will be in addition to the live video stream.
Dan Zangrilli and Ernie Galusky will once again call all the action in 2019. Zangrilli is back for his third season behind the mic as the play-by-play voice of West Virginia baseball, while Galusky is in his 12th season as the color analyst.
In Morgantown, fans can tune in to flagship station Jack-FM 100.9 (WZST), while games will air on WPDX 104.9-FM and 750-AM in Clarksburg. Fans in Sutton-Gassaway can tune their dials to WSBG 1490-AM and those in Sutton-Flatwoods can listen on WSGB 96.5-FM. Fans in Richwood should tune in to WVAR 600-AM, and WVAR 98.1-FM in Summersville will broadcast the Mountaineers. WMTD 102.3-FM in Hinton also will carry every game.
Additionally, WJYP (1300-AM), WMON (1340-AM) and WSCW (1410-AM) in Charleston, WRNR (740-AM/106.5-FM) in Martinsburg and WETZ (1330-AM/93.1-FM) in Martinsville will broadcast select games, and fans are encouraged to check their local listings. WVBD (100.7-FM) in Beckley-Fayetteville will air postseason games.
For each broadcast, the pregame show will begin 15 minutes prior to first pitch.

The Mountaineers open the 2019 season at the Atlanta Challenge from Feb. 15-17 in Atlanta. Opening day is set for Feb. 15, at Kennesaw State, and the weekend continues with contests at Georgia State (Feb. 16) and Georgia Tech (Feb. 17). The home opener at Monongalia County Ballpark is on March 8, against Kent State, and Big 12 action begins for the Mountaineers at Baylor from March 22-24.
