  • Missed most of the postseason due to injury and announced on April 16 that he planned to utilize the extra season of eligibility granted by the NCAA due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
  • Earned a spot on the Wooden Award Midseason Top-25 List and also appeared on the Lute Olson Award watch list.
  • Led the Vols in field-goal percentage (.527) and was the team's second-leading rebounder (5.5 rpg).
  • Ranked fourth on the team in scoring with 9.5 points per game.
  • Led the team in rebounding eight times and was UT's top scorer four times.
  • Scored 10 or more points 14 times on the season.
  • Appeared in 17 SEC games, averaging 8.6 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting .519 in 26.4 minutes per game.
  • Was forced to leave the SEC Tournament win over Florida (3/12/21) following two flagrant blows to the head; that ultimately ended his season.

2019-20 - JUNIOR

  • Named to the coaches' All-SEC second team after leading the Vols in scoring (13.7 ppg), field-goal percentage (.612), total rebounding (5.9 rpg), offensive rebounding (2.1 orpg) and steals (1.1 spg); his scoring average jumped 10.6 points from his sophomore season.
  • His .612 field goal percentage (156-255) was the fourth-best single-season percentage in program history, trailing only VFLs Bernard King, Reggie Johnson and Dale Ellis.
  • Finished the year ranked second in the SEC in field-goal percentage (.612), 18th in scoring (13.7 ppg) and 18th in rebounding (5.9 rpg).
  • Recorded two double-doubles, led the Vols in scoring 13 times and led the team in rebounding 12 times.
  • Had never scored 20 points coming into the season, but did so four times in the Vols' last 10 games: at Alabama (2/4/20), at South Carolina (2/15/20), vs. Florida (2/29/20) and at #6 Kentucky (3/3/20).

  • Established himself as a reliable contributor off the bench during the Vols' impressive 31-win season, scoring at least five points in 12 games, grabbing at least five boards on five occasions, while recording multiple assists eight times, multiple blocks six times and multiple steals five times.
  • Joined Kyle Alexander and Grant Williams as the only players on the team to record 25 blocks and 15 steals; finished as UT's third-leading shot blocker (25).
  • Recorded four points, four rebounds, one block and one steal in victory over Colgate (3/22/19) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
  • Threw down a pair of highlight-reel dunks to go along with five points in the win vs. No. 4 Kentucky (3/16/19) in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament.
  • Had three rebounds, three steals, two points and a block in UT's home victory over Mississippi State (3/5/19)

2017-18 - REDSHIRT FRESHMAN

  • Game-by-Game Statistics
  • Averaged 9.3 minutes per game in 30 appearances as he gradually worked his way back from a pair of injuries that required separate surgeries and limited his 2016-17 campaign to just 10 games played.
  • Earned his first start of the season in UT’s second-round NCAA Tournament matchup against Loyola-Chicago (3/17/18) after Kyle Alexander was held out due to injury.
  • Posted a season-high seven boards to go with two points, an assist and a block in UT's NCAA Tournament win over Wright State (3/15/18).
  • Gave the Vols four points in just five minutes of action off the bench in UT’s win over Ole Miss (2/3/18)
  • Scored four points on 2-of-3 shooting in win over LSU (1/31/18).
  • Was crucial in UT’s comeback victory vs. #17 Kentucky (1/6/18), helping penetrate UK’s zone defense to post three points, three rebounds and three assists in a season-high 19 minutes of action.
  • Had a career-high three steals against High Point (11/14/17) while also tallying eight points and three rebounds in the win.
  • Made his much-anticipated return in UT’s season-opening win over Presbyterian (11/10/17), recording four points, five rebounds, a career-best five assists, two blocks and a steal in 18 minutes off the bench.

2016-17 - REDSHIRT

  • Game-By-Game Statistics
  • Appeared in each of UT's first 10 games, but suffered a dislocated right elbow and fractured right wrist against Lipscomb (12/15), which sidelined him for the remainder of the season.
  • Averaged 4.7 points and 4.6 rebounds in 16.0 minutes per game while shooting a team-best .567 from the field.
  • Was a part of the highest-scoring freshman class in program history (1,140 points).
  • Solid outing at No. 7 North Carolina (12/11): scored eight points on 4-of-4 shooting with four rebounds and a team-high two steals.
  • Scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a win over Georgia Tech (12/3).
  • Made his first career start in the Maui Invitational finale against Chaminade, posting eight points and eight rebounds.
  • Turned in an impressive performance against No. 13 Oregon, logging his first career double-double with 12 points, a game-high 10 rebounds, five blocks, two steals and two assists in 37 minutes of work.
  • Made his collegiate debut in the Vols' opener vs. Chattanooga (11/11/16), pulling down a pair of rebounds in eight minutes off the bench.

HIGH SCHOOL

  • Graduated from The Christ School in Arden, North Carolina, where he was coached by Scott Willard.
  • Broke former Duke and NBA star Marshall Plumlee's single-season school record for blocks while leading Christ School to a 22-9 record as a senior in 2015-16; Fulkerson finished the year with 113 blocked shots.
  • Averaged 14.5 points, 10.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.6 blocks per game as a senior.
  • Was selected as the Carolinas Athletic Association 2016 Player of the Year and also earned NCISAA 3-A All-State honors.
  • At the 2015 Queen City Holiday Classic in Charlotte, North Carolina, he flirted with a triple-double, totaling 16 points, 13 rebounds and seven blocks in a win over tournament host Vance High School.
  • Scored a team-high 23 points as Christ School knocked off previously-unbeaten Carolina Day on its home court on Dec. 11, 2015.
  • As a junior in 2014-15, Fulkerson led his team in scoring (10.0 ppg) and rebounding (6.1 rpg) while also setting a school record with 93 blocked shots (he would break his own record as a senior).
  • Earned All-Carolinas Athletic Association honors and was a second-team selection on the Asheville Citizen-Times All-Western North Carolina team as a junior.
  • Attended Dobyns-Bennett High School in his hometown of Kingsport, Tennessee, as a freshman and sophomore.
