As a Sophomore (2020-21): Opened her sophomore season with a win in the 1650-yard freestyle (16:56.02) and a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.41) at Rice (Nov. 20-21)...Won the 500-yard freestyle at LSU, recording a time of 4:53.82, and also finished third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:51.41 (Dec. 14)...Won the 1000-yard freestyle at Houston, recording a time of 10:17.13, while finishing second in the 500-yard freestyle (4:58.29) (Jan. 11)...Won the 500-yard freestyle at SMU (Jan. 23) with a time of 4:58.83, also finishing second in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:13.41…Finished first in the 200-yard freestyle against West Florida with a time of 1:53.24 (Jan. 30)...Earned a fourth-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle at the AAC Championship with a time of 16:36.81, also finishing seventh in the 500-yard freestyle (4:53.79) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:49.81) (2/25-2/27).

As a Freshman (2019-20): Began her collegiate career on a high note, as she posted a winning finish in the 500 freestyle (4:57.39) at LSU on (Sept. 28)...Just missed her second straight winning performance in the 500-yard freestyle (4:53.99) at Houston (Oct. 3) as she took runner-up honors...Captured first in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:08.24) against FIU in Dual-A-Pool-Ooza (Oct. 18)...Posted a winning performance in the 200-yard freestyle (1:52.79) against Denver and Rice (Oct. 19) at Dual-A-Pool-Ooza...Won the 1650-yard freestyle (16:40.59) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:47.98) at the Phil Hansel Invitational (Nov. 23)...Captured first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.44) in team's final matchup of its training trip against West Florida and Hendrix (Jan. 10)...Posted a pair of victories at home against SMU (Jan. 25), as she claimed the 200 freestyle (1:52.48) and 500 freestyle (4:57.99) events...Made three trips to the medal stand at the 2020 American Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 19-22) after she finished second in the 500-yard freestyle (4:42.78), second in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:15.69) and third as a member of the 800-yard freestyle relay team...Following the meet Byrne earned AAC Freshman of the Year honors, becoming the first Green Wave student-athlete to accomplish this feat...Earned CSCAA All-America honors following her qualification to the NCAA Championships in two events (500 free and 1,650 free).  

Prior to Tulane: Competed in five events at the Georgia Senior State Championship where she won the 1000 freestyle (10:04.28) and finished runner-up in the 200 freestyle (1:51.54) and the 500 freestyle (4:55.71)…Competed in the 2018 Speedo Champions Series Meet in Greensboro, N.C. where she won the 500 freestyle (4:55.39) and took runner-up in the 1000 freestyle (10:03.80).
