UA Little Rock STEM Education Center hosting ACT Aspire Science for Grades 3-10 Workshop - January 6, 2020  
Do your students find it challenging to conduct scientific investigations and interpret the resulting data?  In this workshop, participants will use strategies, tools, and resources to learn how to support students in the Science and Engineering Practices of Planning and Carrying Out Investigations, as well as Collecting, Analyzing, and Interpreting Data. These practices support student success as measured through the reporting categories of “Scientific Investigation” and “Interpretation of Data” of the Science ACT Aspire.

Length: 6 hour session  
Audience: Grades 3-12 teachers, Curriculum Specialists, Instructional Facilitators, Administrators

Teachers will earn up to 6 ADE-approved professional development hours.
Registration is limited.
Registration fee is $20 and includes activities, lessons, and resources aligned to Arkansas K-12 Science Standards.  
Lunch is on your own.
