Simon Youth Foundation works to help students achieve their goals, and cost alone should not prevent a student from furthering their education. Each year, SYF awards, on average, $1 million, based on available funding, in scholarships to help students with the cost of post-secondary education.

• Shari Simon Greenberg Community Scholarships of the Simon Youth Foundation are available to high school seniors living near a Simon mall or in the surrounding communities.

• Simon Youth Academy Scholarships are available only to graduates of Simon Youth Academies.

• Greg Saunders Legacy Program Scholarships are available only to dependents of a Simon Property Group employee.

The application period for the 2023-2024 academic year will open on/or about Friday, September 1, 2023. All applications must be submitted by February 16, 2024.

**Scholarship Deadline Extension – March 5 Update**

Due to unforeseen circumstances related to filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the deadline for submitting Shari Simon Greenberg Community Scholarship applications and Greg Saunders Legacy Scholarship applications has been extended to Monday, March 11.  We will not extend the submission deadline beyond March 11.

In order to submit an application for the Shari Simon Greenberg Community Scholarship or the Greg Saunders Legacy Scholarship, you must upload either the FAFSA Student Aid Index (SAI), formerly the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) or, if the SAI is not available, the Federal Student Aid Estimator. If selected to receive a scholarship, awards are contingent upon submission of the FAFSA SAI document as part of the award acceptance process.
