PARKING / TAILGATING

Is tailgating permitted in the parking lots?

No. In order to promote physical distancing, no tailgating is permitted prior to or after football games this season. In order to emphasize this change, no grills, tents, generators, or trailers will be allowed in the parking lots.

For player safety, there will be no CardMarch for the 2020 season.

What time do the parking lots open?

All Cardinal Stadium lots will open three (3) hours prior to kickoff.

Parking staff in the Planet Fitness Purple Parking Lots will use a speed parking method to park vehicles as they arrive. Vehicles will be directed where to park by staff. This will start with the spaces to the north end of the Purple A lot and will be filled row by row as they move south through the B,C & D lots. Cars will be parked in every other space to allow for social distancing. Please follow the directions of the staff.

When will I receive my parking pass?

Parking passes for the Planet Fitness Purple Lots will be loaded on fans’ CardsMobile account and scanned upon entry.

Parking passes for the Platinum lots and Sun Tan City Bronze lots will transition to a single parking pass for the season.

STADIUM ENTRY / SAFETY ENHANCEMENTS

Are masks required in the stadium?

Yes, masks will be required to be worn at all times. Children aged 5 yrs and under are not required to wear a mask.

What time do the gates open?

Gates will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

Please account for additional time needed to enter the stadium, as enhanced entry measures will be in effect.

  • Mobile Ticketing – Cardinal Stadium ticketing will be fully mobile for the 2020 season to limit contact among fans and stadium staff. For a smoother process upon arrival, please download tickets to your mobile device prior to arrival at the stadium.
  • Clear Bag Policy - A clear bag policy will be strictly enforced. No other types of bags or purses, regardless of size, will be permitted. Medical bags will be inspected and tagged prior to entry.
  • Temperature checks – Temperature checks will be conducted under tents will appropriate space allowed to promote physical distancing. Anyone that has a reading of 100.4° or higher will be directed to a cool down tent. After a 10-minute cool down period a second temperature check will be conducted. If the temperature displayed is 100.4° or higher the person will be refused entry.

What is cashless concessions?

All concessions and merchandise stands within the stadium will be cashless for the 2020 season. All major credit cards will be accepted. Mobile pay options (Apple pay, Google Pay, etc.) will not be accepted.

Will the Cardinal Stadium Ticket Office be open on game day?

With the east side addition of more gates to ease entry, the Cardinal Stadium Ticket Office and Cardinal Authentic will no longer have brick and mortar locations along Floyd Street.

A mobile box office will be open on the north east corner near Gate 1A with physical distancing enforced.

No single game purchases will be available for walk-up sales on game day.

When will I receive my season tickets?

For the 2020 football season, we will transition to mobile-only ticketing. Season tickets will not be shipped. This safety precaution will allow for contactless entry into the stadium. It will also provide the necessary flexibility to quickly distribute tickets and accommodate any future schedule adjustments.

Can I still print my tickets from home?

Beginning with the 2020 season, tickets for all UofL games will no longer include a printable PDF option. This decision was made to protect the integrity of your season tickets and to prevent fraud and counterfeit problems that often accompany PDF tickets. Printed PDF tickets WILL NOT be accepted at any UofL venues for admittance.

This year, all season tickets and single game tickets are fully digital and only accessible via your mobile device. Your phone is your ticket!

How do I get the official CardsMobile app?

The official CardsMobile app is free in the App and Google Play stores. Once you've logged into your account, you can view, transfer, resell or add tickets to your wallet right from your phone.

Can I have multiple tickets on a single phone?

Yes, you can swipe to view multiple tickets within your account, however, transferring each attendee their ticket is the preferred way of entering all venues. Transferring tickets provide:

  • A way for all ticket holders to obtain event updates during an event, if applicable.
  • Accessibility to their seat information at all times.
  • An easy way to enter without having to wait for your friends and family.

What if my entire group isn’t with me when I’m ready to enter?

Transfer tickets to your group in advance - so you don't have to wait to get into the event. Since each person entering will need a ticket to get in, you can transfer each member their ticket individually prior to arrival. Head to your My Cardinals Account manager to transfer tickets. Tickets can be transferred in bulk on a desktop.

Will the person I transfer the ticket to need a My Cardinals Account?

Yes. If they don’t have one already, they can create one when they accept the ticket.

Please note: If the recipient has a My Cardinals Account, the email address used for transfer must be the one associated with their account. Make sure you double-check this prior to starting the transfer so you don’t transfer tickets to the wrong person.

What if connectivity/mobile service is unavailable?

To ensure seamless entry, we highly recommend downloading your tickets to your phone before arriving to the game. If you have an iPhone, you can store your tickets in your Apple Wallet.

Can I manage my tickets on my computer instead of a my mobile device?

You can manage your tickets from your computer, but you will need a ticket on your mobile device to enter the game. When accessing your My Cardinals Account via computer you will have the ability to:

  • Transfer tickets to friends, family, or clients
  • Post tickets for resale
  • Donate tickets to charity
  • Update account information
