Binghamton Parks and Recreation Department's mission is to meet the leisure-time needs of the people of Binghamton and we have been doing so for decades. Now more than ever we need to engage our community and provide recreation, but from a distance.

This site is to connect you and others with virtual activities, arts & crafts, games, and more that we can not do in person just yet.

How do I get a permit for an event in a park?

To obtain a permit please call our office at 607-772-7017 to discuss your permit event.

Can I bring my dog to the park?

Yes. But your dog must be on a leash at all times and you must pick up after your dog.

You can also visit our Bark Park that is within Cheri Lindsey Park (#1 on the map in red). to exercise your dog in an enclosed area.

What parks have pools or water attractions?

There are 5 pools and 1 splash pad throughout the city.

ALL POOLS AND SPLASH PADS ARE CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. WE WILL REOPEN MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND 2023.
