Spanish 3 – Hispanic Country Research Project

Objective: Write a research paper about Spanish-Speaking country (other than Spain & Mexico). 

Paper must be at least 2 pages, double-spaced, 12 font (Times New Roman or Arial), 1 inch margins and written in Spanish. It should include information on the history, culture and geography of the country. You may also write about where you would like to go and what you would like to do if you were to travel there. You will also need a bibliography.

Sub plan --> Spanish AB Initio - Monsters Activity

Monsters have invaded our school! It is your job to write an article about them for the Spanish newspaper, EL MUNDO HISPANO.

Due: End of the period 

Object: to produce a page describing a monster. 

1.   Draw & color a picture of a monster. (30)

2.    In Spanish, write complete sentences to describe the monster. (30) Include the following (at least 12 sentences):

- It’s hair and eye color

- What/how many body parts it has (hands-manos, feet-pies, heads-cabezas, body – cuerpo, ears – orejas, etc) EX. Tiene cinco orejas.

- What it is wearing

- It’s personality

- Whether it is tall or short, fat or skinny, etc.

- Use the verbs ser, tener & gustar 

- Use definite and indefinite articles.

- Use adjectives; be careful they match in number and gender.

3. Write about what he/she likes and doesn’t like. (6 sentences)(20)
