The ECLIPSE originally released in 1992 and was worn by Patrick in the 1992 Olympic Summer Games, playing for the fabled USA Dream Team. Featuring a Royal Blue upper with Orange and White accents.
33 HI Black/Royal
The flagship Ewing Athletics shoe, the 33 HI is an exact retro of the 1990 original, and features a classic reversible ankle strap that can be worn on the front or back of the shoe, and a full length PU midsole for cushioning. This colorway features a premium Black and Royal nubuck upper with ORLANDO inspirations.
SPORT LITE Brown/White/Royal/Red
Drawing inspiration from the hilarious Patrick Chewing Snickers commercial that began airing in 2009 this Sport Lite features pantones straight from the candy wrapper. The sneakers are coated with a chocolate brown upper, they feature white, blue and red accenting and a delectable gum outsole to mimic the look of nougat, peanut and caramel. Trust us, these sneakers look good enough to chew on but just try not to get dunked on like Ryan did.
About Us
In 1989 Patrick began his own shoe company, Ewing Athletics. The first model he wore briefly for the 1989 season was the Rebound, but the first main release from the company was the 33 HI. This shoe would go on to become a huge seller, becoming a street staple in NYC, and eventually becoming a favorite in Europe and Asia as well. The 33 HI remained in production and a top seller for years, and was featured in many album covers and music videos of the era. Patrick wore the shoe during the 1990 season and enjoyed his best season as a pro, averaging 28.6 points a game, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks while shooting 55% from the field.
The apparel line grew as well, from just T-shirts and tank tops to all types of clothing including leather jackets. Ewing Athletics even sponsored some European League basketball teams, making their uniforms for them.
Years later we are still here continuing the relaunch and keeping the first independent basketball brand going strong.
