Appeared in all 10 games at both safety and on special teams … Picked up both CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-District® and Southland Conference All-Academic Team honors … Finished the year with 18 total tackles, including 12 solo stops, and had a fumble recovery … Posted a tackle in nine games and had seven multi-tackle games … Reached three tackles twice, at 11th-ranked McNeese (Sept. 29) and in the 93rd Battle of the Piney Woods inside NRG Stadium in Houston against No. 16 Sam Houston State (Oct. 6) … All three tackles against the Bearkats were of the solo variety and also had a fourth-quarter fumble recovery. 

2017 (Freshman): Appeared in nine games, primarily playing on special teams but also seeing action at safety … Registered 10 tackles on the season … Notched a career-high five tackles, including two unassisted, in the 34-7 road rout of Lamar (Oct. 28) … Posted one tackle in five other contests, including the season opener at SMU (Sept. 2), against No. 11/9 Sam Houston State in the 92nd Battle of the Piney Woods at NRG Stadium in Houston (Oct. 7), at No. 6 Central Arkansas (Oct. 14), versus 17th-ranked Nicholls (Nov. 11) and in the 52nd Battle for Chief Caddo at Northwestern State (Nov. 18).
