Murray is entering his sixth season with the Lumberjacks. In his career Murray has played in 47 games accumulating 152 tackles with 76 solo tackles and 77 assists alongside 14 total sacks and 3 forced fumbles. 

2021 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 12 games as one of the main defensive forces for the Lumberjacks … Recorded 48 total tackles on the season, with 13 of those tackles being for a loss of 86 total yards (second most TFL’s on the team) … Was ranked with the third most sacks on the team with 7.5 sacks for 69 yards … Part of a three-way tie for the team lead with four quarterback hurries on the season … Also accumulated two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery

2020 (COVID season): Played in all ten games … Ended the season with 22 total tackles, six of those tackles being for a loss of yards … Also accumulated four quarterback hurries throughout the year … Had a season-high of six tackles and two quarterback hurries against UTSA (Sept. 19) … Contributed in two half-sacks

2019 (Freshman): Played in all 12 games ... Recorded 42 tackles ... Tallied a season-high eight tackles against Nicholls (Sept. 21) ... Claimed three sacks on the season ... Lead the Lumberjacks with seven quarterback hurries for the season.

2018 (Redshirt): Played in one game utilizing his redshirt season … Made his Lumberjack debut at defensive end at 16th-ranked Nicholls (Nov. 1), where he claimed six tackles including three solo stop … Also recorded a tackle for loss against the Colonels. 

Prior to SFA: Played for head coach Rodney Southern at Huntsville High School … Two-year letter winner in both football and basketball … Named District 20-5A Defensive Player of the Year and claimed first-team all-district honors as a senior … Helped lead the Hornets back to the playoffs his senior year after a one-year absence … A post player on the hardwood … Son of Kathy and Arthur Murray.
