About this app

LiveSafe enables direct and discreet two-way communication with your company or school safety officials using text, picture, video, and audio. It also lets you virtually walk your friends and family home with SafeWalk.

Plus much more:

• Active location sharing during emergencies so you can get immediate help
• Access to safety resources and phone numbers
• Safety map with local incident info and key safety locations to keep you “in the know”

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

DO NOT USE THIS APPLICATION TO REPORT REAL-TIME EMERGENCIES IF YOUR LOCAL POLICE ORGANIZATION IS NOT LISTED IN THE ORGANIZATIONS SCREEN IN THE APP. Reports will not be immediately received by police or emergency authorities until LiveSafe coordinates with authorities to enable delivery of reports. Should an emergency arise, always dial 911.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Law enforcement agencies interested in directly receiving their local crime tips in real-time via the LiveSafe Command Dashboard are encouraged to contact LiveSafe via email at contact@livesafemobile.com or by visiting LiveSafeMobile.com.

By using this application at this time, you will not be assisted for any and all emergencies or crime-reports submitted unless your local authorities have integrated with LiveSafe. Please check with your local authorities to see if they are integrated with LiveSafe to receive your reports. Should an emergency arise, always dial 911.

Forced to create a profile, then don't use it. This is the worst app! Finding your organization is not user friendly, have to put the same profile info in every time, can't save or show ok screen if app closes. Have to take a screenshot then later delete it which isn't exactly the point of answering the questions every day. Poor design overall and needs a major update!

What a wonderful tool for advertisers!! After reading the not so fine print, I would not recommend this to anyone. It doesn't really do much other than track your position... Overall it's better to know the local emergency number, i.e. 911, 999... If I am traveling outside my country, there are already location tools in most social applications (actually, take a picture & add the location label) for others to know my local. Personally, I like the LINE app

ridiculous that the newest update forces you to have a notification icon that brings you directly into the app, with no way to dismiss the notification. Then, when you disable the "persistent" notification (as they call it) in the settings, a warning is displayed that you won't receive push notifications and emergent information. Asinine that you cannot disable the "persistent" notification, and allow for push notifications of emergent/important information at the same time.

Hi Nicholas, I'm sorry the notification was bothering you. We had to add this notification in order to ensure we can deliver timely location based updates due to Android operating system restrictions. You can go into "Manage Notifications" in the OS settings and disable the "Persistent Notification" which won't impact other notifications.
