Greetings,
Ohio's State Historic Preservation Plan helps identify and prioritize historic preservation needs throughout the state. It serves as a blueprint for the State Historic Preservation Office, pinpointing issues that affect the broad spectrum of Ohio's historic and cultural resources, identifies where funding and educational emphasis should be targeted, and provides a general framework for historic preservation throughout the state.
For agencies, non-profits, companies and property owners whose work or lives are related to historic preservation, the plan outlines ways to consider historic preservation within broader planning environments and how a preservation perspective can shape short- and long-term community goals.
Input from many people on shaping Ohio's historic preservation plan is an important part of building an inclusive and effective plan. Please help with this step by following this link to take our 6-minute survey to share your thinking. Your answers will help us set priorities, develop goals and plan future projects to accomplish the goals.

We very much appreciate your involvement in shaping the next statewide historic preservation plan for Ohio. Please contact Nathan Bevil at nbevil@ohiohistory.org if you have questions about the preservation plan.
