SENIOR SEASON (2023)

Named to NFCA South All-Region Second Team and All-SEC First Team for the second consecutive season…Started 22 games, made 28 appearances and threw 13 complete games…Finished season with a 13-7 record with a 2.25 ERA featuring four shutouts and three saves…Tossed 112 strikeouts (No. 11 in SEC) in 127.2 innings pitched (No. 7 in SEC) and held opposing batters to a .211 average…Gave up 99 hits which ranks No. 9 in the program’s record book for the fewest hits allowed by a pitcher with a 100 innings pitched minimum…Had a season-high 10 strikeouts against Oregon State (Feb. 12)…Concluded career ranked No. 3 all-time in LSU Softball history with eight career saves, No. 8 all-time with 474 career strikeouts, and No. 9 all-time with 57 career wins, 47 complete games and a .206 opposing batting average.

JUNIOR SEASON (2022)
Named to the NFCA All-Region Second Team, All-SEC First Team and LSWA All-Louisiana First Team … Started 22 games in the circle and made 33 appearances … Finished the season with 171.1 innings pitched and a winning record of 18-9 … Pitched 11 complete games and ranked No. 8 in the SEC with a team-high 145 strikeouts behind a 2.29 ERA (No. 7 in the SEC) … Tallied a season high of 11 strikeouts twice … Earned a new career high of 9.0 innings pitched against Florida (May 1) … Recorded her first career no-hitter with 5.0 innings pitched against Nicholls on March 23 and matched a season-high 11 strikeouts … Pitched five shutouts against Texas Tech (Feb. 20), Purdue (Feb. 26), Stephen F. Austin (Feb. 27), Nicholls (March 23), and South Carolina (April 14).

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2021)
Made 33 appearances with 16 starts … Finished with a 15-9 record and the best ERA on the Tigers’ pitching staff narrowly missing a sub-2.00 earned run average … She fired 139.2 innings and had 10 complete games with one shutout … Allowed 62 runs on 100 hits, but was able to collect 124 strikeouts … Finished the year with a .195 opposing batting average … Tossed a one-hitter against No. 7 Arkansas on May 3 allowing one run with three strikeouts … Earned wins in game two and three against Missouri after tossing 231 pitches over 13.2 innings, allowing just two runs on seven hits and struck out 15 batters … Her final outing of the year came in the first game of the super regional against the Florida State Seminoles when she had a career-high 8.1 IP, producing a marvelous effort with five strikeouts … Tallied a season-high in strikeouts with 14 against Central Arkansas … In early April, she had a four-game stretch in which she did not yield a single earned run … Named to the NFCA South All-Region Team.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2020) – Season was cut short due to the coronavirus
Made nine appearances in the circle for the Tigers this season with six starts … Finished with a 6-1 record and a 0.58 ERA, which was second on the team, third in the SEC and fifth in the nation … Her ERA contributed to a team ERA of 0.95 which was the No. 1 ERA in the nation … Averaged 2.92 hits allowed per seven innings which is fourth in the nation and second in the SEC … In 36 innings pitched, allowed just three runs and tallied 49 strikeouts … She pitched four complete games and threw two shutouts … Pitched a combined no-hitter with Abrams and Edwards on Feb. 9 against Florida A&M, earning the win and tallying five strikeouts … Earned her first SEC Pitcher of the Week honor on Feb. 17 after picking up two victories over Samford and No. 13 ULL, tallying six strikeouts and not allowing a run … Recorded a career-high 15 strikeouts in a complete seven inning game against Campbell on March 7 … Picked up nine strikeouts in her final appearance on the year, a five-inning win over South Alabama on March 10 … She earned two saves in the first two games of the season with her first career save coming against Central Arkansas, tallying two strikeouts in the final inning on Feb. 6 … Did not allow a single run until her seventh appearance on Feb. 27.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2019)
Made 15 appearances this season and started seven games as pitcher, compiling a record of 5-3 … Had a 3.55 earned runs average and held her opponents to a .228 batting average … In 47.1 innings pitched she struck out 44 batters and recorded three complete games on the year … She recorded a season high 12 strikeouts in the Tigers’ 4-1 victory over Lamar in seven innings … She came in as the relief pitcher against Georgia in the bottom of the first inning when she tallied seven strikeouts on the game and allowed no runs to secure the win … In her debut as a Tiger, she struck out the first three batters and recorded a total six strikeouts in LSU’s 10-0 victory over Bucknell in five innings.

HIGH SCHOOL
A four-year letterwinner coming to Baton Rouge from Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, who was ranked 69th in the FloSoftball Hot 100 … Helped lead her team to three-straight state championships as a freshman, sophomore and junior and a four-straight appearance at state as a senior … As the pitcher, she owned an 87-4 record … As a senior, she finished with her best ERA at 0.42 to go along with 273 strikeouts and just 12 walks in 134 innings pitched … As a junior, she threw a total of 149 innings and tallied 283 strikeouts, 18 walks and finished the year with a .47 ERA … As a prep, she earned many accolades in her four years, including three-time all-state, all-region selections … . A four-time Colorado Player of the year and a three-time Colorado Pitcher of the Year … Named the Colorado Softball Sportswoman of the Year by the YMCA her junior year, and was a nominee for Xfinity Female Athlete of the Year for three-straight years … Also nominated for Gatorade Player of the Year as a sophomore and junior … Earned National Player of the Week as a freshman and senior … During the summer, Kilponen played for the TC Stars and Firecrackers-Rico, who are coached by Dave King and Tony Rico, respectively.
