Foster Families Deserve To Be Celebrated!
May is National Foster Care Month, and Live 2 Give Hope wants to recognize local families for their dedication, sacrifice, and love to vulnerable children across the region.
Hundreds of families throughout Central and Southwest Missouri care for thousands of vulnerable foster or former foster youth each year. Live 2 Give Hope is proud to support these families and want to champion their efforts to the Community!
Do you know any foster, kinship, guardianship, or adoptive parents across Central and Southwest Missouri whose efforts and care have helped kids or families to have a brighter future?
Four families will be selected and celebrated throughout the month of May and lavished with gifts including a massage from Well To Do Somatic Therapy Clinic.

The first part of our mission is to help people in their hour of need, giving hope now.

OUR PROGRAMS
Fostering Hope Closet
Provides free resources to hundreds of foster, kinship, guardianship, & adoptive families including clothing, hygiene items, beds, diapers, bedding, car seats, and more!
Kids Night Out
Monthly respite program for foster, adoptive, guardianship, & kinship families including any biological children in the families, rotating between drop events, take home packs & family events.
Hope Reunited
Assists families in navigating through the child welfare system with a goal of placing children in relative homes & assist healthy families to work toward successful reunification and prevention of re-entry.
Paving the Way
Provides education, resources, and life skills for older youth ages 15+ that includes driver’s education with certified driver instructors, financial fundamentals, home management, & teen safety.
Safe MO Kids
Child sexual abuse prevention awareness and education program for adolesence & adults. The program also also includes an 8-week support group & an annual retreat for sexual assault victims.

Live 2 Give Hope’s mission is to give hope to individuals in our community now, for the future, and for eternity through Jesus Christ. Our programs provide assistance to members of the community who need advocacy, resources & mentorship.
