Colliers International – Las Vegas Announces Listing of Downtown City Block

LAS VEGAS – (July 31, 2014) – Mike Mixer, executive managing director of Colliers International – Las Vegas, announced the listing of a 2.33-acre city block in the downtown Las Vegas area. The property, which is located just south of the Fremont East Entertainment District, is one of the last remaining downtown properties on the market.

The area has been a hot topic of discussion in Las Vegas for some time, as a result of the Downtown Project’s revitalization efforts by several well-known developers.

Co-listed by Mixer and Josh Smith of Colliers International’s Gaming Division, the property is located across the street from the popular Container Park and is only a short walk from a variety of other amenities.

The city block is comprised of roughly 12 parcels and is bound by Sixth Street and Seventh Street to the west and east, and Carson Avenue and Bridger Avenue to the north and south. The property excludes one individual parcel and is bisected by a public right-of-way easement.

The property’s existing improvements include office, residential, a former hotel and hostel, and vacant land, all of which can be razed or reconfigured.

The property’s location is in close proximity to downtown’s growing business district, as well as several dining and entertainment options. It possesses multiple zoning permits, including multifamily and general commercial, making it viable for a variety of uses.
