This presentation will focus on a fast-paced renovation where mixed reality and mobile scanning were utilized to quickly identify areas where work in the field was deficient from the model. Mixed reality was utilized because of its abilities to save time by efficiently visualizing and interacting with complex 3D data, but added value by being able to geo-reference assets by overlaying them onto the real-world. Mobile scanning was used due to its rapid scan to deliverable time without a dramatic loss of accuracy in addition to its ease of use.
