Biography

2019-20 (Senior):

  • CSCAA Scholar All-American Team, MPSF All-Academic Team, MPSF First Team (200 IM, 100 breast, 200 breast), MPSF Second team (800 free relay, 400 free relay)
  • Claimed three, top tier finishes in the MPSF Championships (Feb. 19-22), No. 1 in the 200 breast, No. 2 in the 200 individual medley, and No. 3 in the 100 breast. 
  • Finished No. 4 in the 200 free versus Minnesota (Jan. 11). 
  • Claimed a No. 5 finish of the 100 breast at the Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 21-23). 
  • Came in at No. 2 of the 100 breast and No. 3 in the 200 IM with a tri-match against Arizona and Denver.
2018-19 (Junior):
  • Awards and Honors: garnered a total of four first-team MPSF honors in 200 Y IM, 400 Medley Relay, 100 Y Breast and 200 Y Breast. Earned MPSF All-Academic Honors.
  • vs. CSU Bakersfield (Oct. 18-20): notched two third-place finishes in the timed finals of the 50 Y Breast (26.11) and 100 Y IM (52.35).
  • Roadrunner Invite (Oct. 20): tallied a third-place finish in the 200 Y Breast (2:04.68) and swam to a personal best time in the 500 Y Free, finishing ninth (4:52.00).
  • Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 14-16): produced two top 10 finishes in five events competed in (50 Y Free, 50 Y Breast, 100 Y Breast, 200 Y Breast and 200 Y IM). Notched a seventh-place finish in the 200 Y Breast (1:59.59) and finished ninth in the 100 Y Breast (55.63). Also placed in the 200 Y IM, finishing 27th (1:50.96). Swam in the preliminary round of the 50 Y Free (21.05, 28th) and 50 Y Breast (26.00).
  • vs. Minnesota (Jan. 12): registered a pair of top three finishes, including taking second in the timed finals of the 100 Y Breast (56.63) and third in the 200 Y Breast (2:03.71). Also added a fifth-place finish in the timed finals of the 200 Y IM (1:53.63).
  • MPSF Championships (Feb. 20-23): earned a trio of 3rd-place finishes in the 100 Y Breast (53.81), 200 Y Breast (1:57.42) and 200 Y IM (1:47.82) to help the Rainbow Warriors to a first-place finish. Registered personal best times in the preliminary rounds of the 100 Y Breast (53.55) and 200 Y IM (1:47.27). Also swam his fastest mark in the final of the 50 Y Breast (25.14) and 200 Y Breast.
2017-18 (Sophomore):
  • Awards and honors: Earned MPSF second team honors in 100 Y Breast, and was able to grasp the MPSF All-American Honors as well. Earned MPSF All-Academic Honors and named to the CSCAA Scholar All-America team.
  • vs. Dury, Minnesota (Jan. 6): Competed in 3 events all placing in the top 5. Finished 3rd in 50 Y Free (21.39), 4th in 100 Y Breast (57.28), and 5th in 200 Y Breast (2:04.90)
  • vs. Purdue (Jan 2): Finished 6th in 200 Y Free (1:45.26), and 4th in 200 Y Breast (2:05.63)
  • Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 16-18): Finished 26th with a season best in 50 Y Free (20.66), 12th in 100 Y Breast (55.87), and 11th in 200 Y Breast with a personal best (2:00.25)
  • vs. UC Santa Barbara (Oct. 29): Competed in 3 events and that all placed in the top 5. Finished 4th in 50 Y Free (21.55), 3rd in 200 Y Free (1:43.63), and 2nd in 200 Y Breast (2:06.51)
  • vs. CSU Bakersfield, Idaho (Oct 28): Finished 3rd in 100 Y Free (46.64), and 2nd in 100 Y Breast (56.66)
  • MPSF Championships (Feb. 15-17): Finished in 16th place in 50 Y Free (20.76), 7th in 100 Y Breast (55.17), and 9th with a personal best in 200 Y Beast (2:00.03)
2016-17 (Freshman):
  • Awards and Honors: First-Team All-MPSF (200 medley relay, 400 medley relay, 100 breast, 200 breast), Second-Team All-MPSF (50 free, 200 free relay, 400 free relay)
  • vs. Minnesota/Drury (Jan. 7): Swam second leg of 6th-place 200 medley relay (1:36.02), finished 5th in 100 breast (57.66), 5th in 200 breast (2:05.43), swam first leg of 2nd-place 400 free relay (3:05.16)
  • vs. Simon Fraser (Jan. 8): Swam second-leg of 1st-place 400 medley relay (3:22.90), 1st-place in 50 free (21.25), swam 200 breast (2:05.94)
  • MPSF Championships (Feb. 15-18): Swam second leg of gold-medal 200 medley relay (1:26.25), finished 5th in 50 free (20.32), swam first leg of 2nd-place 200 free relay (1:20.59), finished 3rd in 100 breast (54.44), gold medalist swimming second leg of 400 medley relay (3:11.50), 3rd in 200 breast (2:00.37), swam second leg of 3rd-place 400 free relay (2:56.36)
