Biography

2019-20 (Sophomore):
  • Awards and Honors: CSCAA Scholar All-American Team, MPSF All-Academic Team, MPSF First Team (200 fly), MPSF Second Team (800 free relay, 400 individual medley)
  • Strong showing at the MPSF Championships, finishing at No. 1 in the 200 fly, No. 7 in the 400 individual medley, and No. 9 in the 500 free. 
  • Took a No. 1 position in the 400 IM and No. 3 in the 200 fly of a head-to-head meet with Minnesota (Jan. 11). 
  • Came in at No. 1 of the 200 IM event, along with a No. 4 finish in the 100 fly against Drury (Jan. 9). 
  • Won the 200 IM and placed No. 9 in the 200 fly at the Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 21-23).
  • Placed at No. 4 in the 200 fly and No. 5 in the 200 IM of a tri-match with Arizona and Denver.
2018-19 (Freshman):
  • Awards and Honors: garnered four MPSF selections, including two first-team accolades in the 400 Y IM and 200 Y Back. Received second-team honors in the 800 Free Relay and 500 Y Free. Recipient of the Mike Sheldt Rookie of the Year Award, Earned MPSF All-Academic Honors
  • vs. CSU Bakersfield (Oct. 18-20): competed in four events (200 Y Free, 50 Y Back, 100 Y IM and 400 Y IM). Produced three top-10 performances, earning second in the 400 Y IM (4:00.91), eighth in the 50 Y Back (24.64) and ninth in the 100 Y IM (53.38).
  • Roadrunner Invite (Oct. 20): competed in the 200 Y Free, 200 Y Back and the 200 Y IM. Finished third in the 200 Y IM (1:55.29), fifth in the 200 Y Back (1:53.87) and 11th in the 200 Y Free (1:44.43).
  • Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 14-16): competed in five events (100 Y Free, 500 Y Free, 100 Y Back, 200 Y Back and 400 Y IM). Earned a ninth-place finish in the 400 Y IM (3:55.23). Tallied a pair of top 20 finishes, placed 13th in the 500 Y Free (4:32.68) and 18th in the 200 Y Back (1:49.28).
  • vs. Minnesota (Jan. 12): competed in the 500 Y Free and 200 Y Free, earning third (4:38.40) and second (1:51.83), respectively.
  • MPSF Championships (Feb. 20-23): competed in four events (200 Y Free, 500 Y Free, 200 Y Back, and 400 Y IM). Earned gold and a personal best time in the 400 Y IM (3:46.81), finished third and produced a PB time in the 200 Y Back (1:44.71) and placed fourth in the 500 Y Free (4:27.58). Recorded another PB time in the 200 Y Free (1:37.59).

  • All-American at Kodiak HS in Kodiak, Alaska.
  • Member of the 2016 Men’s State Champion for Alaska
  • Competed 10 years for Kodiak King Fishers Club and was named the Alaska Male Swimmer of the Year five times
