2019 Traditional CSA Application
Common Good City Farm’s CSA program provides a weekly share of produce for 22 weeks throughout the growing season (May 29 to October 30). CSA members will come to the Arcadia- Common Good Farm Market each week to pick up their share of produce.

CSA Pick-up Times:
May 29- September 25: Wednesdays 3 - 7 pm
October 9 - October 30: Wednesdays 4 - 6 pm (no pick up on Wednesday, October 2, 2019)
Pick up at: Arcadia & Common Good Market at 3rd and Elm St NW

A typical share includes 8-10 pounds of a variety of seasonal produce, with an average retail value of $30. The shares will vary in size and weight depending on the season.  Members will be given a list of options for their weekly share and can select their own produce from pre-assigned categories.

We also offer a Market CSA option: http://commongoodcityfarm.org/node/364

An Income-Qualifying CSA option is available for those making less than the DC Living Wage (http://livingwage.mit.edu/counties/11001). For a single adult, this is $710/ week before taxes but the calculation is variable dependent on your household- please reference the chart or contact us with questions. Proof of income and household size must be submitted to qualify. Acceptable proof of income could include a recent pay stub, a letter from a source of public benefits, or another fixed income statement. Please submit proof of income and household size to Josephine Chu at josephine@commongoodcityfarm.org.

CSA members make a commitment to support the farm throughout the season, and assume the costs, risks and bounty of growing food along with the farmer or grower. Members’ payments help cover costs for seeds, water, equipment maintenance, labor, etc. In return, the farm provides, to the best of its ability, a healthy supply of fresh seasonal produce throughout the growing season. More information about our CSA pick-up can be found on the CSA page of our website (http://commongoodcityfarm.org/csa).
