California Youth Aftercare Supervisor
Avid4 Adventure, on of Outside Magazine's Best Places to Work, is hiring Aftercare Supervisors for our summer day camps in the Bay area! Pay starts at $21.29/hr

The CORE Responsibilities of an Aftercare Supervisor:
Happy Campers
- Supervise campers by providing age-appropriate, after camp activities, supporting campers' comfort, confidence, and creativity with new endeavors, and maintaining a safety-oriented environment
- Communicate with parents when they arrive for pick up
Stellar Programs
- Lead activities on-site
- Responsible for shopping for supplies and snacks weekly (budget will be given based on camp size)
- Organize and participate in camp programming, ranging from arts & crafts to games
- Great opportunity to apply educational lessons and creative activities for youth 1st grade through 7th grade!
Passionate Staff
- Provide exceptional customer service to parents and all participants in our programs
- Be a member of a dynamic staff team and take an active role in the evaluation of campers, programs, and staff
*Aftercare Staff will be given the opportunity to complete all of staff training and therefore can substitute when needed at day camp.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- 1+ years of experience working with kids
- Basic First Aid and CPR prior to the start of camp
Important Details:
- Staff Training: begins in early June
- Camp Dates: Mid-June - Mid-August
- Work week: Monday - Friday, 2:45 - 6:00 pm
