Summer Intern Opportunities
The interns in these departments will have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of areas throughout the business units of the Georgia Lottery and IGT Corporations.
Intern departments may include:
- Accounting
- Business Administration
- Finance

- Information Technology

- Marketing
- Media Relations
- Project Management
- Sales
- Projects will be assigned based upon the intern skills and department needs. Intern experiences may include:
• Receiving, reviewing, processing, researching and analyzing retailer applications and contracts in a timely manner.
• Assisting with record keeping, research issues and other administrative duties.
• Processing invoices and purchase requisitions along with new hire paper processing.
• Learning how to support the Field Service Department by handling installation requests and working with internal and external customers to complete an installation from start to finish.
• Preparing and updating financial accounting schedules for unclaimed property reporting.
• Assisting with posting year-end closing entries, track year-end accruals, set up new vendor files and preparing account reconciliations.
• Selling instant and online tickets while providing quality customer service.
• Processing winner claims and validating pay prizes.
• Receiving applications and assisting with their initial processing.
• Supporting and maintaining existing business applications and server environments.
• Providing technical and administrative support to the assigned IT team.
