  • Led the team with a stroke average of 69.54, on pace to break his school-record of 70.08 set in 2021-22
  • Recorded 12 consecutive top-16 finishes to open the season, with five top-5s and a four runner-ups at the OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational (T2nd), Augusta Haskins Award Invitational (2nd), Tiger Collegiate Invitational (T2nd), and NCAA Bath Regional (T2nd)
  • Posted his fourth-career victory at the Fighting Illini Spring Collegiate (April 22-23)
  • Shot a season-low round of 65 (-7) in Round 2 at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational, and again in Round 1 at the Tiger Collegiate Invitational where he closed with a career-best 54-hole tally of 198 (-18) to help the Illini to a school-record team score
  • Tied for team lead with 27 of 35 rounds at par or better
  • Recorded a team-high 18 rounds in the 60s
  • First on the team as Illinois’ top finisher in six events on the year
  • Earned three B1G Golfer of the Week honors on Sept. 21, 2022, April 6, 2023, and April 27, 2023

SUMMER - 2022

  • Made major debut as one of 15 amateur competitors at the 2022 U.S. Open at the Country Club in Brookline, Mass. (June 16-17) after earning a spot through local qualifying at Springfield Country Club
  • Competed at the 2022 Arnold Palmer Cup (July 1-4) at Golf Club de Geneve in Geneva, Switzerland, helping Team International to a 33-27 victory
  • Played alongside Illini teammate Matthis Besard for Team Belgium at the European Amateur Team Championship (July 5-9) at Royal St. George Golf Club in England
  • Advanced to match play at both the 120th Western Amateur (July 31-Aug. 5) and at the U.S. Amateur (Aug. 15-21)
  • Helped Team Belgium, along with Illini teammate Matthis Besard, to a tie  for 11th at the World Amateur Team Championship (Aug. 13 - Sept. 34) in Paris, France

SENIOR - 2021-22

  • Played in the lineup in all 12 tournaments
  • Led the Big Ten in stroke average (70.15) to earn the Les Bolstad Award, and finished the season with a program-record mark of 70.08. 
  • Earned back-to-back Big Ten Player of the Year awards as a unanimous selection in 2022
  • Captured second-consecutive first-team All-Big Ten accolades
  • Recorded top-20 finishes in 11 of 12 tournaments, and tied for 21st in his only finish outside of the top-20 at the Southern Highland Collegiate (Feb. 27-March 1)
  • Led the team with seven top-10s
  • Won his third collegiate event at the Boilermaker Invitational (April 9-10) with a 9-under 204
  • Carded a career-low round of 64 (-8) in Round 2 of the National Invitational Tournament (March 18-19) and finished with a 54-hole total of 203 (-13), the second-lowest total of his career, to tie for fourth
  • Tallied 29 of 36 rounds at par or better, including 15 rounds in the 60s
  • Finished as Illinois first- or second-place finisher in all 12 events, pacing the squad in a team-most six events, for an average finish of 1.5
  • Selected as B1G Golfer of the Week: April 21, 2022 and March 24, 2022
  • Named April 22 to the Haskins Award Watch List
  • Selected on April 19 to compete in second consecutive Arnold Palmer Cup (Team International)
  • Named Feb. 8 to the Ben Hogan Award Watch List

SUMMER - 2021

  • Competed for Team International at the 2021 Arnold Plamer Cup (June 11-13)) at Rich Harvest Farms
  • Tied for 14th at the European Amateur Championship (June 23-26)
  • Helped Team Belgium to a third-place finish at the European Amateur Team Championship (July 6-10) PGA Catalunya Resort in Catalunya, Spain
  • Shot 68-69-69-65 to place third, one spot behind Illini teammate Jerry Ji, at the German International Amateur Championship (July 22-25)
  • Finished second at the Omnium Classic of Belgium (Aug. 12-15)

JUNIOR - 2020-21

  • Played in the lineup in all 10 tournaments
  • Second on the team with a stroke average of 71.06
  • Earned Big Ten Co-Golfer of the Year honors
  • Unanimous first-team All-Big Ten selection
  • Recorded top-20 finishes in 8 of 10 tournaments
  • Tied Michael Feagles for the team lead with seven top-10s
  • Carded a career-low round of 65 (-7) in Round 2 of the Louisiana Classics (March 15-16)
  • Tallied 18 rounds of par or better, including nine rounds in the 60s
  • Closed as the Illini’s top finisher four times - second-most on the team - finishing T7 at the NIT (March 20-21), T4 at the Boilermaker Invitational (April 10-11), capturing a share of second at the Big Ten Championship (April 30-May 2), and tying for third at the NCAA Stillwater Regional (May 17-18)

SUMMER/FALLl - 2020

  • Tied for 13th at the GTGA Invitational (July 22-25)
  • Finished 80th in stroke play at the U.S. Amateur Championship (Aug. 10-16)
  • Placed third at the GCAA Amateur Series at the U of I Orange Course in Savoy (Sept. 19-20)
  • Finished 11th at the Golfweek Indiana Amateur (Oct. 3-4)
  • Won the Golfweek Purdue Amateur (Oct. 10-11) by four strokes
  • Placed fifth at the Sunshine State Amateur (Nov. 23-25)
  • Missed cut at the South Beach International Amateur (Dec. 19-22)

SOPHOMORE - 2019-20

  • Played in six tournaments in the COVID-19 shortened season
  • Appeared in the team lineup in five tournaments
  • Also competed in the Cypress Point Classic (Oct. 28-29)
  • Posted season-best score (3-under 213) and finish (T-19th) at the Sports Authority Intercollegiate (Feb. 10-11), closing with a season-low 69 (-3)
  • Carded four rounds of par or better
  • Named Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner

SUMMER - 2019

  • Tied for 16th with a score 4-under par at the European Amateur
  • Shot 3-under par at the St. Andrews Links Trophy
  • Appeared in the field at the British Amateur
  • Helped Belgium to victories over Iceland and the Netherlands at the European Amateur Team Championship

FRESHMAN - 2018-19

  • Played in 11 events for the Orange and Blue and appeared in the team lineup in nine tournaments
  • Earned six top-10 finishes throughout the season
  • Won his first-career tournament title at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate
  • Became Illinois 21st Big Ten Championship Medalist at Philadelphia Cricket Club
  • Continued his strong play at the 2019 NCAA Myrtle Beach Regional, finishing among the top five
  • Posted a career-low 65 (-6) at the Macdonald Cup on his way to a career-low 202 (-8)
