Flamed is one hugely fun, gentle and steamy read
I very much enjoyed this story of Alora and her hot dragon-shifter men, Brynn, Canavan, Sharpe and Argon. The author managed to convey distinct personalities for the male characters and make them very likeable. Alora was a strange but wonderful mix of politically savvy and yet quite naive and unworldly too. I adored her, she was far too sweet and loving to not like!
This is a very low angst read, perfect for when you want pure entertainment that is easy to read. Problems are resolved fairly easily but, as long as you read this knowing it isn't a deep or complex book, there is still a lot of enjoyment to be found within it's pages.
The plot has plenty of twists and turns, and whilst the world building was fairly detailed and had been given plenty of thought, it did lack depth on occasions. Not enough to spoil my enjoyment of the story though. I really liked how Flamed set up the possibility of future books and will definitely be reading those too.
I'm happy to recommend this to fans of Reverse-Harem books and those who love a light, sci-fi romance.

I loved this story! I didn’t want it to end. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I love reading anything by Katie Douglas. She has a way of drawing you into the story and hours later you realize that you have finished another amazing story without taking a break.
Alora has been kidnapped when she is rescued by four guys. She is taken to their cavern where she discovers that they are dragon shapeshifters. She is a princess of the galaxy but hasn’t met a dragon before. Brynn, Sharpe, Argon, and Canaan are attracted and intrigued with her. They will do anything to keep her safe. They also have some problems of their own. When her enemies come back, will they be able to keep her safe?

Flame Daddies is the first book of the 24th Century Dragons series. Alora has just watched her world potentially crumble around her and now she’s been taken by slavers. Surprisingly, four men show up to save her, and she’s even more surprised when they have the ability to turn into dragons! Argon, Sharpe, Canavan, and Brynn all feel an immediate connection to Alora and it goes beyond a sexual need, but more into a caring and dominant role - they want to be her daddies. And just as they become comfortable with each other, Alora is taken again. Can her four dragon daddies save her, or will she be able to rescue herself?
I was completely intrigued by the blurb, and while I haven’t read any of Ms. Douglas’ previous 24th Century Daddies Series, I’m happy I gave this book a chance! Alora is a bit of a mystery, never quite fitting in, wanting more than she can commit to, and so much stronger emotionally that she knowns. I loved her inner strength and loved watching her try to rescue herself. Her four dragons were dominate, caring, wanting so much for her, and I liked that each had a different personality and characteristics. One thing that was both fun but a little distracting about this book was the mesh between our modern day slang with the sci-fi futuristic and dragon universe that was created. There were four dragons, each with a different personality, but I think it was hard to find the romantic connection between Alora and her men sometimes. I also felt like there were interesting facts, especially about the dragons, that were thrown in that didn’t really help the story progress and were almost like a last minute added thought to further differentiate the dragons. All in all, though, I was interested in the book, I was intrigued by the plot line, curious to see what Alora would do next, and liked reading this book!

Katie is a wonder when it comes to her writing being able to put entirely new swings on books and topics, in this another of her Daddy books she has cleverly chosen the male interests that have in fact been her rescuer and are also the most gorgeous men she’s ever seen, also they are the most amazing ability to become dragons each of them very different in attitude and also in colour.
Alora, princess has been kidnapped to be sold but before her kidnappers get a chance to sell her on the market, she is rescued by four dragons Sharpe, Brynn, Argon and Canavan all feel very drawn to her and she seems to have a very strange effect on them which they are unsure of.
She was something of a rarity at six foot in height and they appeal to her need to be coddled, loved and treated like a little girl with a blankie she really couldn’t be happier but she is also aware of her responsibility to her people if there are any more still alive on Nidia. She is more than a little interested in this and when Sharpe come to her and explains to her that they want her to be her carer, her protector, nurture her, play with her and provide everything she needs to be happy and health and to top it off they were all beautiful hunks…. She’d be a fool to say NO!!!
Then as with many of Katie’s stories there was a delightful twist, which I cannot spoil so I will leave you to discover what it is for yourself. I know that you won’t be disappointed…..
I love Katie Douglas books she never fails to put a great spin on a story and once again she has succeeded with this book, I look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

I gave this a one star rating because I did not finish reading it. There was just too much going on.
she was royalty they were being hunter
she was kidnapped from her home world by space pirates
they saved her
they are alien to each other
they are shifters
they all feel a connection more mating bond then attraction
they are all daddy doms
several men so harem story line
was kinda of like just pick one either it is a story about aliens or it is a story about shifters or it is a story about reverse harem daddy doms. this has story lines for several books all crammed into one book.
they rescue her naked and at no time do they offer her clothes of anything to cover her self nor does she ask for anything. at one point she is standing there holding a towel and just holds it because she does not know what to do with it. I don't know how about wrapping it around yourself to cover your naked body?
I was also not a fan of the baby talk in this book calling a blanket a blankie and one of the men referred to him self as Mister tickle. that is as far as I got. this one was not for me at all.

Whenever I see a book by Katie Douglas, I jump on it. This one is fantastic with a slightly humorous tone and great action, both sexy and otherwise. I thought that the dragons manner of speaking hilarious. I suppose you don't think of a huge dragon speaking like that. Seems like it should be something more James Earl Jones and less Justin Bieber. *shrug
This reverse harem novel includes 4 dragon shifters that are brothers, but different types of dragons. This is because of the different fathers within the clutch. They each have their own personality and abilities, making them individual and memorable. The h of the story is a princess who is rescued by the dragons from a couple of nefarious pirates bent on auctioning her. Lucky girl that she meets the 4 dragons. Very lucky!
Enjoy this book if you like light-hearted, alien, erotic, menage, shifter romances. (Say that 3 times real fast.) Katie Douglas has a way with DDlg, domestic discipline, menage romances and this is certainly one you will read a couple of times, at least.

Katie has come up with another brilliant reverse harem story where we have 4 Dominant Dragons shifters and an inter galactic Princess..almost a fairytale in it self...
Alora (the Princess) finds herself saved from an uncertain future after being kidnapped by slavers .and her rescuers are 4 brothers (the dragons) who thought they were saving something else from being stolen.(boy were they wrong) but anyway they save Alora.
Argon, Canavan, Brynn and Sharpe are the brothers, that due to their upbringing can’t help but become daddies who want to nurture, love and protect Alora who’s sassy but smart and drives their desires wild, and with a few humorous twists and a situation the threatens to destroy their furure as well as a unknown element that is hidden in Alora.
I found this to be a light hearted tale with a mix of ménage, spanking and light bdsm

I loved this story, it had Dragons and all four of them are unique in their colors and abilities. The dragon's flames each do different things. Alora is the princess of Nidia, but gets abducted by vile slavers then rescued by the dragons Aragon, the Silver dragon, Sharpe, the Green dragon, Brynn the Gold dragon and Canavan the Amethyst dragon. All four dragons feel a draw towards Alora that can't be explained but they each treat her well and care for all her needs. Alora is pampered but also disciplined as needed and she finds she really likes being held accountable for her actions, especially from Aragon. The storyline has action, mystery, angst and much care and affection from the daddy dragons, something Alora needs and thrives with. There is something very special about Alora but there is plenty of hot sexy times while all the mysteries are being figured out. My personal favorite dragon is Sharpe with his healing green flames and patient affection towards Alora. In the end, this was a fast moving story with one special princess and four wonderful Dragon Daddies.

Alora awakens and her brain seems to trip to all the holo movies she;s seen about disasters and kidnappings. Then she hears her captors talk about prepping her for sale. She may have gotten a history of art diploma but her love is in her gymnastics that no one other than her father knows about. As the kidnappers are prepping her the ship is attacked and she;s rescued by four gorgeous men. When she awakes she;s on a planet withe the four dragon shifters. Sharpe is with her, the green dragon, and she is drawn to him as he to her. Which surprises both of them unbeknownst to the other. Then Brynn come to do the guarding of Alora and is surprised how he feels towards her. When she tries to escape, Argon rescues her and punishes her through spanking which surprises her totally. Canavan is also drawn to her. The four dragons confer and agree that there is just something about Alora that draws her to them.
Beautiful story that will have you just as interested in the dragons as Alora.

Katie has a wonderful knack of writing awesome Daddy books and i have to say that im sure this one will top the charts , these four dragons are super sexy and i cant help but love their daddy ways of caring for their mate.

Sharpe, Brynn, Argon and Canavan all feel the need to be her Daddy. Alora has always felt the need to have someone look out for her andvto care for her, also to have a blankie.
Can she trust these four dragons, but theres a lovely twist, Argon the Alpha finds out something about her that even she dosnt know. She is special but it dosnt make sence no one has seen the likes of her for a very very long time.
A beautiful story, one the reafers are really going to love.

I have enjoyed the Daddy books from Douglas I have read so when she combined reverse harem with this sub genre, it was a match made in heaven. As sometimes a girl needs a firm hand or two to guide her life
Exactly what this this princesss need, some strong daddies to help her with her tendencies and these dragon daddies are more than happy to give their girl what she needs. It back to a world that I hadn’t previous read but I found it easily to enjoy as this a complete new series and only the setting is common.
Alora is a princess who has no clue what she wants in life. So when she rescued by four dragons who are searching for a new home but instead get her =. However there is a bit of a mystery as Alora is being hold by slavers who have kidnapped for unknown reasons and the dragons believe there was some on the said ship with dragon DNA.
Well that aside, these guys soon get into things pretty quick and there a bit of bantering and of course dominance. It not all fun and games with that mystery still at hand of why Alora in this position and her Daddies want to help protect her.
Each of her Daddies obviously has their gifts and showed her what she need . She may came across as a certain way but there was more than what meets the eyes.
ALora is pretty smart but I don’t think saw what was coming.. I like the concept and can’t wait to see how Dougals goes from here as she change the way we think about this galaxy and dropped a big bombshell.

After a government building is blown up Princess Alora kidnapped by a group who plans to sell her off as a slave but before that can happen she rescued by four Dragon shifter brothers who take her back to their cave. One of the brothers has a healing fire which he uses to help her but the drug she had been given by her abductors which was to keep her paralyzed and unable to escape has to clear through her system. As she gets to know the brothers she sees how different they are and finds herself drawn to each of them but she is unsure how the future will unfold for them. An Alien romance to relax and enjoy.

One of the authors I follow provided this as a free book in their newsletter. I am not sure when this all started for authors to provide freebies from author friends, but I love it. I have found several new authors I liked through this referral system and now I want to read more of their books. Katie Douglas is one of these new to me authors. First I want to know, where is the second book in this series? Because I want to read it.

What a wonderful first book in a series that has already proved itself to be intriguing. Katie Douglas has given us a heroine in Princess Alora and four dragon brothers for heroes. The storyline is cohesive and the characters, both good and bad, are well defined and interactive to the point of making me feel like I was in the middle of their conversations. Not only that, but the sexual chemistry between the five of them can be felt through the descriptions by this talented author. This is definitely one to follow and I look forward to the next one.

this is a daddy-dom sci-fi / paranormal RH romance novella [approx 160 pgs]
The book has some scenes that are truly hot and steamy but it also has a good plot. our main female character is a princess that was kidnapped but found and saved by 4 alpha dragon men. there are so many surprises and things that you just dont see coming. it does have submission and dominance along with spankings and those steamy sex scenes. if all of that sounds like your type of story, give it a try you wont be sorry. i seriously cant wait for the next book to release!

really liked the book. It seemed kind of innocent but obviously not because there's steamy sex in it. I only gave it 3stars bc there needs to be some depth. It talks about these awesome things that happen. There are educated dragons but it just pops up all of a sudden with no inkling of how it happened. I mean we learned everything from our dad fine. That's basically the gist of it. I don't like pages of information, I think they are a waste but I do like some kind of reasoning or explanation. A couple of paragraphs would do. A couple paragraphs of each male would've added a bunch to the story.

After Alora was kidnapped by pirates, she was saved by four dragon shifters who would become very special to her. These four dragon shifters each have their own special power. Although she must get back to her home world to check on her father, she stays with the four dragon shifters and learns about her own dragon which is a rare pearl dragon. She also learns they are her mates. Because of the problems with the elves and dragons, Alora and her dragon shifter mates agree to help move the dragons to Telia I after getting her father's permission. This a steamy romance with plenty of action and a happily ever after.

This was actually a cute story, a bit silly at times with the way Alora talked but then we are talking about four Daddies. Sharpe was so sweet and tender. Brynn was the flirt. Canavan was more the nurturer. And Argon was the Daddy you did not mess with. He was strict but fair. They brought a balance that Alora needed deeply plus they were fun.

A kidnapped princess, Alora, is saved from slavers by 4 dragon shifters. They want to care for her and protect her. Since she enjoys their attention, eventually, she agrees. This truly is the craziest, wildest Sci-Fi Fantasy I have ever read. And, damn, it has the wildest, craziest hottest sex I could ever imagine for humanoid dragons. Added to all this astonishing sensual imagery, the book also has an amazing plot. There is danger and mystery and quite a huge surprise! Since I rarely read Sci-Fi, I was stunned to admit to myself that this was a really enjoyable read!

I love dragons and thoroughly enjoyed this story with great characters, romance and intrigue. Alora was the daughter of the supreme commander on her planet and was abducted. Four dragons in another spaceship sensed a dragon and abducted her away from the other slave sellers. They couldn't understand why they were so attracted to her when she was only a human female. She was abducted by the elves and was going to be sold as a slave. She transformed into a dragon and was rescued by the other dragons. The ending was great.

I fell in love with this book. I fell in love with the four sexy alpha dragons. I loved the drama, and lots of love. This book ends in a cliffhanger making you want to know. What happened to the other dragons? Do they follow the pearl dragon to the new planet? And a lot more questions. I guess we'll just have to wait to find out in the second book.

Four hot heroes and a heroine that is all about getting the job done,No spoilers here, but let me say this, in my opinion, Dragons rule! and I wouldn't mind one like Argon in my life! What can I say, I like them strict.....Katie Douglas does a great job, again! Soooo glad that I read this book, I know you will enjoy it too!

This was a good read. There was plenty of hot & steamy moments between the 4 hot dragon guys & Alora but there was also an interesting story with the drama & tension between the different species/planets. It was sweet how the guys took care of her so well & im glad they all got a hea.

This is my 1st read and review for this author and this story is very 🔥. Alora is a princess who has been kidnapped, she’s about to be sold into slavery when 4 sexy dragons come in to save her and burn the place back to hell. This is a great read and I had such a laugh I enjoyed reading this book immensely, a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
