2020 Application Deadline
FALL 2020: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18TH*
* Note: While application deadlines exist, applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Your application may not be considered until the following semester if submitted after the deadlines above and mentor availability does not exist.

Mentor Requirements
Must be a Psychology Major. GPA of 3.0+ (with exceptions). Must be a second-semester Sophomore (40+ credit hours completed) OR have completed/ in the process of completing six (6) psychology classes

Mentor and Mentee Pairs/Trios are required to meet one-on-one at least once each full school month.
Fall: October, November                Spring: March, April
 
All Members are required to attend at least 1 social event per semester. There will be many events planned to fill this requirement.

Events and Mentor/Mentee Meetings
To ensure the utmost safety of our Kent State community, the Peer Mentor Program has decided to hold all events and member meetings for the Fall 2020 semester remotely. We will be holding events on Blackboard Collaborate and will be incorporating numerous features for our members to stay connected this semester. We will also require for mentees and mentors to hold their meetings remotely to ensure the health and safety of all our members. Pairs/Trios roll over from Fall to Spring Semesters. Therefore, resubmitting an application in winter is not needed. Each Fall, all new and returning members must submit a new application. We also accept new applications in Spring.
