This year, we are advocating for 1 school counselor for every 250 students, for an amendment to a bill passed last session that 80% of our time spent in direct counseling services to students (change says school counseling services instead of direct counseling services) and to spread information and education about the appropriate and essential role of the school counselor in student safety, post-secondary planning and mental wellness. Come join us in advocating for what's best for kids!
