The Salish Sea Ecosystem Conference is pleased to announce that a film festival will accompany the 2020 conference. The festival’s objective is to inspire awareness about and connection to the Salish Sea’s ecosystems and communities, and to foster conversations around protecting it in the face of local and global changes.

The film festival will take place the evening of April 19th 2020 and will be followed by a panel discussion.

We welcome film nominations that address experiences and issues in the Salish Sea, or address themes and issues that are parallel to the Salish Sea’s ecosystem and communities. Film entry specifications include:
 
I. Films are 40 minutes or less
II. Films with soundtracks other than English must have English subtitles
III. Access to film electronically or in DVD for review

If your film is selected you will be required to provide a promotional image/poster and a detailed film description.
