Symptoms

Using the Excel sheet to edit and save the LocalDB CSV breaks the Import functionality.

Impact

File saved using Excel Sheet cannot be used for Import

Conditions

Admin Exports the LocalDB CSV file ( Access->Authentication->Local User DB->Users -> Export to CSV) Admin edits the file using Excel Sheet and saves it Admin Imports the CSV file

Workaround

Dont use excel sheet to edit the file. Use a simple text editor (like Textpad , vim) to edit and save the file.

Fix Information

Now Microsoft Excel can be used to edit the APM LocalDB database file in CSV format.
