Student Technology Survey for 2020-21 School Year
Thank you for completing this survey so we can prepare to best meet your technology needs.

With the move to distance teaching and learning, now more than ever it is essential for students to have access to an internet-capable computer at home. To support our students, Woodland Hills Academy will be loaning Chromebook computers and WiFi hotspots to students who do not have their own at home. Regardless of need, all families should complete this form. This way we can verify that all of our students have access to the necessary equipment for learning.

Since the distance learning curriculum is web-based, any computer with a web browser such as Chrome, Safari, or Firefox, plus sound and camera capability can be used. WiFi hotspots are available for families without their own internet connectivity. Families are free to use their own equipment and are not obliged to borrow from the school.

By accepting a device, you have read and agree to follow the District’s Responsible Use Policy for the use of school computer devices and accessories. You give permission for your child to take the device home, and agree to monitor and engage with your child when accessing online content away from school using the device. You will be responsible for the security, care, and use of the device and will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of any lost, stolen, or damaged devices.

For families with more than one student at Woodland Hills Academy, please complete a separate form for each student. If you have a device that you checked out last school year, you may continue to use it, and should not request another.
