There was something so unexpectedly sweet and wonderful about all this.That quote sums up Shimmy Bang Sparkle so well!

Stealing jewels was how I punched above my weight and fought back against a world that could be cruel, unkind, and unfair.These two were pretty fabulous together; combustible, yes . . .
"This is how it's gonna be," he said, zipping up his too-big motorcycle jacket on me and sliding his hands into my back pockets to pull my hips into his body. "I'm gonna drive you back to my place. I'm gonna take you like you deserve to be taken. Every second from now until you fall asleep in my arms is going to be me, doing my thing to you, and making your eyes roll back in your head again and again.". . . but I also loved how the author built up their relationship into something that was deep and sweet and beautiful.
With her in my arms, I felt hope. And I wanted to protect that. No matter what.The reason I can't give it five stars is that the heist itself was pretty silly and not at all realistic. But hey, that's not why we read these kinds of books anyway, right?
