One of just three Lady Bears to start in and play in all 56 games on the season ... Finsihed third on the team at the plate with a .347 batting average, notching 38 runs and 51 hits with four doubles, four triples and 17 RBIs ... 25-to-23 walk-to-strikeout ratio helped her to a .462 on-base percentage and .429 slugging mark ... 8-for-13 on stolen base attempts and finsihed the year with a .972 fielding percentage and 77 assists, most among the Lady Bear field players ... Had a career outing vs. Liberty (3/10), going 4-for-4 at the plate with four runs scored and six total bases ... First career multi-RBI game came against Charlotte (3/3) ... Finished the season with 11 multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games.

2017 (LSU):
Played in 38 games for the Tigers, starting in 13 contests … Member of the 2017 LSU Women’s College World Series team … Hit .310 for the fifth-best average on team, with a third-best OBP of .420 … Fifth on team in slugging at .381 … 8-for-9 in stolen base attempts … One of only two Tigers with a positive strikeout-to-walk ratio … Broke up Alabama’s Alex Osorio’s no-hit bid in the sixth inning (4/7) … First multi-hit game came against Illinois State (3/3), including two runs scored and two stolen bases.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Was a decorated multi-sport prep athlete at Parkview Baptist in Baton Rouge, playing softball for six years under former LSU standout, Ashlee (Ducote) Weems, who played for the Tigers during Glenn Moore’s tenure … State champion sprinter and state track and field High Point Winner, as well as a district basketball MVP … In softball, was a five-time all-state selection, six time all-district and six-time all-metro selection … Two-time Marucci Louisiana Softball Player of the Year … As a senior, was named a Max Preps National Player of the Year, a FloSoftball Top 30 player, and consensus All-American first team selection … In her senior season, hit .658 with five home runs, 36 RBIs, 65 runs scored, and 58 stolen bases, earning the NFCA’s Golden Shoe award as the nation’s top base stealer ... Holds the Louisiana High School record in steals, hits, extra base hits, total bases and runs scored, while setting the national high school career record for triples with 49 ... Ranked in the Top 10 nationally in high school career steals, extra base hits, total bases, and runs scored ... Third-degree black belt in Taekwondo and an undefeated kick boxer.

PERSONAL:
Daughter of Charles and Kelli Dawson, and Nicole Brown … Father, Charles, was an All-American catcher at Southern Arkansas, playing professionally in the Atlanta Braves organization … Has five siblings: Cody, Jay, Dee, Andrew, and Amy … Health, kinesiology & leisure studies major.
