Transportation to the March

UTSA will be providing transportation to and from the March from both the Main and Downtown campuses.

From Main Campus

        9:30 am      Departure from the UTSA Convocation Center (arrive early)

       1:30 pm     Return immediately at the conclusion of the March

From Downtown Campus

       9:30 am      Departure from Durango Lot (corner of César Chavez and Pecos/Trinidad (arrive early)

       1:30 pm    Return immediately at the conclusion of the March

If you do not plan on taking the UTSA buses, you can meet us there on your own by using Uber, Lyft, Taxi, Rideshare, or the free VIA Bus Service. The drop-off point for these services is, 3501 Martin Luther King Drive, San Antonio, TX 78203. In front of The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Academy. Once you arrive, look for the UTSA flag as this signifies our line-up point.

MLK March VIA Bus Schedule

To the march: passengers may access free VIA Bus service from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m on Monday, January 15, at two locations:

• Freeman Coliseum, 3201 E. Houston St. (Lot 1)
• St. Philip’s College, 1801 Martin Luther King Dr. (Lot 22). Lot 22 is at Montana and Mittman streets.

The drop-off point for service to the March will be on MLK Drive, west of Upland Drive.

From the march: buses will return passengers to the original pick-up locations from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. Participants may access return service at Pittman-Sullivan Park, 1101 Iowa St.
