December Blog Hop

Hey Stampers,
So you should have just hopped over from Kathyas blog!! So cute!!

This month our blog hop is featuring Christmas and New Years projects.

Every year I love doing unique cards for my Christmas card and go all out for my family and friends. I love to add our family picture from the year too. My biggest challenge is always how to kick it up from the last year:)
So this year I'm probably gonna do a simple card, and include a picture.

I have a stamp club that meets every few weeks, and so I thought I would share this project from their club with you.

It is a matchbook style gift card holder
It measures 4 1/2 X 4 1/4

I used Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party, and Whisper White Cardstock,

Coffee Break DSP and the Dies from Coffee Cups Framelits Dies
Stamps are from Merry Cafe

I cut the paper at 9 1/4 by 4 1/4 and scored  one side at 1 inch turned it all the way around and scored at 3 3/4. Folded on the score lines to make it look like a matchbook..

Wala!! Super easy! I also stapled at the bottom of the bottom fold to hold it shut.

I cut a 1 inch piece of pool party and just glued the two sides so it would create a little pocket for the gift card.

Super fast and super easy!!

Thanks for stopping by, and now hop on over to our next blog and read on!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

November Blog Hop!!

Welcome to Novembers Blog Hop!!

This month we are doing Thanksgiving projects and I am so in love with the Painted Harvest Stamp Set, and all the goodies that go with it:)

I am so blessed to have so many wonderful woman in my life, and some of my favorite ladies attend my Stamp club in Oracle, Az. I am so thankful for each and everyone of these women, and love the short time we get to spend with each other every 6 weeks!

This is a card that we made in our last club, and since then I have realized that it looks amazing in many other colors, so don't stop with the usual sunflower colors, but try others like blues and reds.. You'll be so surprised at how beautiful it looks.

Paper is Whisper White and I stamped Daffodil Delight on the bottom of the flowers with Crushed Curry on the top. You have to stamp and turn the stamp 1/4 to cover whole flower. The brown middle is Early Espresso stamped and turned several times.

The leaves are Garden Green and I just stamped the ink on ,  then wiped the stem off so it would appear under the sunflower. The sentiment and little dots are  stamped in Early Espresso, and then I added some Wink of Stella on the brown middle and some Bling! Super fun and fast card!
 ( My favorite type)

This is a cute card I created using the Night in Bethlehem Stamp Set and the Bethlehem Edgelits

Todays inspiration came from all the beautiful flowers blooming in AZ right now. My allergies cant hardly stand to look at the mountains, but boy are they on fire with yellow wildflowers.

This card is 5 1/2 X 5 1/2. I used DSP from the Cupcakes and Carousels paper pack.
Stamped directly on the DSP, and mounted with Dimensionals.
I added the ribbon and bling:)
